THE CHALLENGE
Tebis North America—a technological solutions provider of CAD and CAM software to the automotive, aerospace and industrial industries—was looking to generate a social media content strategy and deployment plan to promote their services. They understood the importance of a social media marketing strategy and wanted a communications partner that would support their needs.

With several years of experience working with business-to-business manufacturers and suppliers, WayPoint identified the need to create a messaging personality, posting cadence and phased rollout that would accomplish two objectives: 1) build brand awareness among target audiences and 2) engage employees to maintain a positive cultural and attract new personnel.

OUR APPROACH
Our first step was to complete in-depth discovery sessions with the client team so we could better understand their current social efforts, the factors influencing a desire for change, targeted audiences and goals for each desired channel. The primary objective of the initial launch was to establish consistent content generation and posting habits. 

The next step in the process was hashtag analysis to expand post impressions among target audiences. The hashtags needed to be relevant to a large group of people that would benefit from seeing the post, while still conveying the main intention or message.

After researching applicable hashtags, generating well-branded and attention-getting images, and engaging content calendars, WayPoint utilized their library of social media strategy tools to schedule content, monitor metrics, listen to industry talk on the web and continually analyze monthly performance reports.  

THE RESULTS
After monitoring several months of social media reports, our WayPoint crew continued to track top performing post types, hashtags and industry news to improve the content.

After a year of consistent, strategic social activities, Tebis North America experienced growth of 128% in impressions, 136% in engagements, and 30% in net follower growth.

The client’s global partners are now examining their own practices and implementing a guide of best practices across other locations based on North America’s success.
